Michael Cerstvik serves as an impassioned facilitator within Kings in Christ, a ministry where he combines his commitment to transforming lives with his own tale of redemption. Deeply empathetic towards those grappling with life's hardships—ranging from addiction and homelessness to food insecurity—Michael's personal journey is a testament to resilience. His 27-year battle with drug and sexual addiction, including the loss of a previous marriage to pornography addiction, fuels his unwavering dedication to aid others. Now completely freed from drug addiction and recently achieving newfound freedom through the Conquer Group at Bethany Church, Michael is on a mission to launch similar programs, starting this fall at Bethany's Washington Township Campus. As a sourcing coordinator for Table To Table, a nonprofit food rescue charity, Michael couples his vocation with his calling, often ministering alongside his wife Julie, who he married just over a year ago. Together, they distribute food, clothing, and gospel materials throughout northern New Jersey. His involvement also
extends to inner-city ministries in Newark, including Heavy Laden and Dominion Manna Station, where he serves and preaches, as well as monthly engagements at Market Street Mission. Through it all, Michael continues to lead countless individuals to Christ, embodying Proverbs 4:23, his life verse that epitomizes his journey: "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways, acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths." He is happily married to Julie, sharing a collective burden for the lost and broken.
